Hey, you!

Yes, you. Long time, no see, old friend. Do you remember me? I'm sure you do. I was that awful little roleplayer who liked to break character to talk about the weathe... oh, right, I forget, that was a lot of us here. What about all the one-liners? You must remember me! No? Well, I did play that violent redhead. No, not Lily, the other one. Yes, now you remember me! It's been a long time, hasn't it? Four years. Four years this month, in fact. It blows my mind, really, that so much time has passed. I'm surprised I even remember the password for this journal. Old habits die hard, I guess, even so many years later. (I know, four isn't a lot to some people - but in internet years, it must be at least sixty.)

I'll be honest, TN. We don't miss you. We've all moved on and some of us have fallen out of touch, but a lot of us haven't. We're still great friends and, you know, despite all of your faults, you had a lot to do with that. You brought us all together, through the drama and the flaky moderating and the crazy players. You gave us inspiration to make fun things happen with fictional people. So thank you for that, and thank you especially for providing us with one of the best years I've ever actually had in a roleplay game. We'll always have the memories (and abject shame). ♥

Heyy! I figured I'd take the time and introduce myself as the new Cissa. *waves* I'd love backstories with any characters if you want. My name is Liz, and I'm completely addicted to Marauders-era RPs. I'm 23, EST timezone, a grad student, and have a 3 year old little girl - but as a stay at home mom I do get plenty of time on the net! =) (That and I hardly ever sleep, so yeah I'm up late usually too!)

So, I guess I'll just give a brief intro to my Narcissa. Narcissa is a spoiled brat, "daddy's little girl". She has her parents wrapped around her finger, because she exudes all qualities a proper Pureblood elitist would. Narcissa's favorite thing to do is shop - and believes there is no problem that can't be solved without spending an obscene amount of her parent's money to make her feel better. (After all, the Blacks are a very wealthy family.)

She has a lot of pride in herself, thinks herself superior to the vast majority of people she comes across. At a very young age, she learned every beauty charm in the book - and Narcissa is never seen looking even a shade less then perfect. Her hair is always perfectly in place, her make up constantly fresh, her clothes never wrinkled, and always has a scent of Vanilla & Honeyscuckle.

Narcissa only get's passing marks - passing because Blacks do not fail at anything. They are not stellar because they don't matter much to her or her parents. (Other than not being allowed to be a failure). Narcissa is being raised to be a perfect housewife, and most certainly not raised to do any sort of work a day in her life. Being the youngest of the sisters, Narcissa has been raised even more so in this sort of mindframe, because anything less than marrying the perfect prospect would be a travesty for the baby of the family.

Narcissa is by no means a slut. In fact, she's more on the prudish side, because she has more self worth than to let just anybody be able to say they had a chance at her. Although, she has been known to snog random blokes - more often than not, when she was manipulating them to either doing something for her or buying something for her. As far as relationships go, Cissa has yet to give into the persuits of any bloke - waiting out for the one that she just cannot resist.

Narcissa is very family orientated, so she loves her sisters even if they disagree or fight. I've also alway seen her as being a close friend to Regulus, though she's always despised Sirius because he would likely have teased and taunted her even pre-Hogwarts considering he's her older cousin and all. (And Narcissa does not take well to teases or taunts).

Narcissa feels superior to ALL people that were sorted into other houses, regardless of Bloodlines. Narcissa will respect and value her housemates that are half-bloods, but she will never belittle herself so far as to befriending or being kind to a muggle or muggleborn. They are, after all, 'scum'.

Anywayyy, that's my characterization. Now lets come up with backstories and plots! Woot! Just comment here or hit me up on AIM: hotlikewoahiknow

Oh and her PB is Olivia Wilde, so I am a bit amused that someone is PBing Adam Brody. =)

Sooo, while Christmas shopping in downtown St. Augustine, I came across yet another striking PB look-alike. This time, the subject looked STRIKINGLY like a young Hugh Jackman (particularly like Roddy's default icon). And his name?

I am . . . SO GLAD nobody I knew was around when I left the shop I was in and broke into giggles of the massively hysterical kind.

I love St. Augustine like whoa.

Is it just me, or do the new Death Eater masks look like bondage masks?

Also, my inner-Bella is very much "The FUCK am I wearing?" She is not, it seems, a big fan of leather corsets, and she thought she'd never have to look at a skirt again after she finished Hogwarts. Let's not get her started on her reaction to her hair.

Anway: Costume department? Good TRY with the masks. They look less like tacky Halloween decorations than the last batch. But this icon right here? That's what they're supposed to look like. Thanks.

what's the sense in waiting?Collapse )

If your character didn't show up, it's because they don't have a love interest (or I'm not aware of one. I could be wrong!)
I'm going to do a character one later. If you have any songs in mind for your own character, feel free to tell me!

Someone should really book a room at St. Mungos...Collapse )
