so thanks for the memories.
Hey, you!

Yes, you. Long time, no see, old friend. Do you remember me? I'm sure you do. I was that awful little roleplayer who liked to break character to talk about the weathe... oh, right, I forget, that was a lot of us here. What about all the one-liners? You must remember me! No? Well, I did play that violent redhead. No, not Lily, the other one. Yes, now you remember me! It's been a long time, hasn't it? Four years. Four years this month, in fact. It blows my mind, really, that so much time has passed. I'm surprised I even remember the password for this journal. Old habits die hard, I guess, even so many years later. (I know, four isn't a lot to some people - but in internet years, it must be at least sixty.)

I'll be honest, TN. We don't miss you. We've all moved on and some of us have fallen out of touch, but a lot of us haven't. We're still great friends and, you know, despite all of your faults, you had a lot to do with that. You brought us all together, through the drama and the flaky moderating and the crazy players. You gave us inspiration to make fun things happen with fictional people. So thank you for that, and thank you especially for providing us with one of the best years I've ever actually had in a roleplay game. We'll always have the memories (and abject shame). ♥

Well, it's been four years (which is still IMPOSSIBLE to believe. Man...), so yes, if we haven't grown, we're in an entire world of trouble. And you're very much right. Sometimes it doesn't seem like it was long ago, and sometimes it feels like it was another lifetime.

I don't think I've been in another game that had the same sense of community that TN had. We weren't just players, but we had those cracky group chats EVERY NIGHT. We had injokes. We had... so much love for the game and for each other, and it's almost impossible to find that in a game now. We weren't just roleplayers. We were friends.

Gah. Thank you, TN, for existing.
